Kantara Hindi OTT Release Date BIG Announcement: The mega Kannada blockbuster Kantara will now stream on OTT platform Netflix in the Hindi version.

The biggest surprise hit movie of the year, Kantara started streaming on Prime Video from November 24. It was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Ever since its OTT release, the fans were eagerly waiting for the Kantara Hindi OTT release date. 

Kantara Hindi OTT Release Date on Netflix

OTT major Netflix announced the exclusive worldwide digital Hindi premiere of the Kannada blockbuster Kantara. 

Kantara is set to premiere in Hindi on Netflix on December 9. The streaming giant will also make the English dubbed version of the movie available in January.

Kantara box-office collection worldwide 

Made on a modest budget of around Rs 16 crore, Kantara has crossed Rs 400 crore (and counting!) worldwide in theatres after its release in September this year.

Kantara storyline

The story of Kantara is set around a small community living in the woodlands of Kaadubettu in the southern coastal state of Karnataka. Weaving an interesting plot of human versus nature conflict, where death leads to war between villagers and evil forces and Shiva, a rebel defends his village and nature.

Rajinikanth gifts golden memorabilia to Rishab Shetty

Superstar Rajinikanth gifted actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty a gold chain and locket over the success of his latest release 'Kantara'. Rajinikanth had recently called Rishab Shetty for a personal meet at his Chennai residence where he bestowed him with a gold chain and a gold locket for the super success of his film Kantara. Rajinikanth was also seen praising the film while calling it a film that happens once in 50 years. This has again added an extra feather to the rising glory of 'Kantara'.

Produced under the banner of Hombale Films by Vijay Kiragandur, the action-adventure is written and directed by Rishab Shetty, who also acts in the movie alongside Sapthami Gowda, Kishore Kumar G. and Achyuth Kumar in the pivotal roles.
