Gold price today: Yellow metal tops Rs 50,000 on MCX; check rates in your city on October 5

Gold and Silver Rate Today: On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashmi, the yellow metal showed tremendous positivity on the multi commodity exchange (MCX). The precious metal was seen trading in the green territory and comfortably holding the psychological level of Rs 50,000 on Wednesday, October 5.

At 11:30 am, Gold December Futures on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) were trading 1.35 per cent up at Rs 51,850 per 10 grams.

Likewise, the Silver December futures were also trading in green and crossed the level of Rs 60,000. The metal was up by 1.55 per cent at 61,855 per kg.
